In 1991, this Nassau Blue '65 Corvette roadster was purchased from Jack Busch in Torrington Connecticut. Immediately, the car was sent to A&R Corvettes of Towners, NY to undergo a complete restoration. Sparing no expense, the Corvette was carefully turned into a very competitive B/P racecar. The car first saw competition at the Mid Ohio Tiretown Corvette meet in 1995. In 1996, the car saw two races, the Walter Mitty Challenge at Road Atlanta and the HSR vintage race at Mid Ohio. Again in 1997 the car competed in the Walter Mitty Challenge followed by the Vintage Fall Festival at Lime Rock Park. In addition to its racing, this car has met much success at numerous car shows throughout the N.E. United States.
