   In 1991, this car was acquired from Douglas Johnson, in Rockaway NJ. In its original trim, this Oldsmobile was equipped with the 303 cu. in. "Rocket 88" V8 engine linked to a rare 3 sp. manual transmission. Over the next year, the car was completely rebuilt and modified with the intention of competing in the famous La Carrera Panamericana Rally. At this race in 1992, the car finished 2nd in class and 13th overall. The following year, the car was successfully campaigned in the Colorado Grand Rally. In 1999, this car appeared with the "Living Legends" of Nascar (50's and 60's Nascar) for an exhibitionary event at Lime Rock Park.
